World Climbing Oceania Championship
The 2026 season opened on the beach town of Mount Maunganui, where Oceania's best climbers gathered for their continental championship across all three disciplines, speed, lead and boulder.
Continental championships crown regional champions and hand out valuable ranking points, and for Oceania's small but growing speed scene this was the year's biggest stage. Australia remains the region's stronghold, with the only official-spec speed walls in the region (Melbourne and Brisbane, both in our wall directory).
